This beautiful saree is a handmade, traditional piece crafted primarily from a lightweight and breathable Kota Doria fabric, known for its signature square-check pattern (khats) created by the unique weaving of cotton and silk threads. The vibrant pink and white/off-white colours are achieved using traditional natural dyes and colours. 

The intricate designs are a result of traditional hand-block printing techniques, specifically Bagru and potentially Dabu print.
